I also have a number of larger pots-3.5 x 3.5
the best size pot for me-to start seeds is a 5.5 square pot. 5.5 deep. It
takes up a little more room but if you are starting more than 30 seeds it's
the way to go. You can leave the seedlings in these pots for a longer time
and they will still have very good root growth. I have an unlimited supple of
the larger pots-at least it seems like it.
