and a new topic/ Tulips & Companions


Hello Val ,
	When I think of bulbs such as Tulips, Dutch Iris, crocus, Colchicum, etc.
I always thing of Hardy Geraniums. The bulbs are woven through the mounds
of geraniums so they can play off of each other in blooms. When the foliage
of the bulbs begins to die back and become unsightly the geranium foliage
is just coming into its own and helps to hide the ratty foliage of the
bulbs. When the Geranium is just foliage in the fall the colchicums will
send their blooms up thorough the geranium foliage for late fall color ...
September and October.  Just one thought of bulb companions...
