I've seen these kinds of deals locally too, at Builder's Square (just bought
out by Home Depot). But look at the envelopes. They're nearly always the B
run of seeds and I think I've seen them one year old at times. They obviously
buy these in great bulk at a remaindered price. But for the easy-to-grow
things, I have bought them. Never really paid attention to the germination
rate, but always got as many plants from them as I wanted, planted directly in
the bed.
