I hope this isn't too far off topic, but since we've been talking about
catalogs, it seemed worth tossing out. Besides, if a plant is not
identified correctly in the catalog, it makes you wonder about what they're
shipping. Anyway, this was in the Jackson & Perkins catalog; not a place
I'd buy roses from, much less perennials. Look on page 45 at the
photograph for Lily of the Valley (Convallaria majalis). I believe the
plant pictured is a Leucojum, probably L. vernum.
I can understand it when Michigan Bulb does this, but for the prices that
J&P charges (and now you can get extended credit!, 'Cause your gonna' need
it!) you'd think they'd have a botanist double checking the proofs.
