Michigan Bulb

Have you been reading the messages posted here recently? Michigan Bulb
sends out some pretty shoddy excuses for plants! I received a WHOLE
perennial garden in one business-sized envelope. The tulip bulbs I
received at the same time were below grade and less than half bloomed.
Their catalogs actually show tulips blooming at the same time as asters,
and they also show other unrealistic garden designs and computer-modified
colors (as if there is really a sky-blue rose out there).

Consumer Reports actually rated this outfit pretty highly. I don't
understand their criteria, but I found this hard to believe considering my
experiences and those of many others (ratings can be found at a nifty FAQ
whose address was given a couple of days ago). Once you've received plants
and bulbs from more reputable sources, you'll begin to understand why most
will never buy from them again.

I'm sure that there are some satisfied customers somewhere out there,
otherwise they would be out of business. I just feel like their standards
are a bit low if they would accept these pathetic looking plants and
cast-away bulbs. Consider yourself warned.

buck)
