Re: Michigan Bulb

Dear Sue P,

After hearing everyone talk about Michigan Bulb, I couldn't resist any
longer with my own comments! We have a gardening/landscaping business
and are therefore dealing with bulbs and such all the time. The best
way to select bulbs is to pick the largest available and those without
bruises or other obvious damage to them. No matter how inexpensive
Michigan Bulb may be, the bulbs they send are absolutely the smallest I
have ever seen. I can only think they get a good rating with Consumer
Reports because they offer a refund for anything that doesn't grow. I
KNOW many people plant them and then forget them. And, WHO is going to
go to the trouble of finding their address, writing them and waiting 6
weeks for a refund. I would, but I know many people wouldn't go through
the trouble (and I think Michigan Bulb counts on that).

Got one foot off my soapbox now, he he. Anyway, flowers are wonderful
things in our lives and time is always too short for all we want to do.
Do yourself a favor, get more flowers and healthier plants by purchasing
bulbs that you can see are large and unbruised or from a reputable mail
order nursery. You'll be much happier.

Now, all the way off soapbox.....thanks for listening.
