I was hoping that this would slide by without ruffling too many feathers,
but it looks like it needs to be addressed.  

First off, Bill Lee has always been a civil and contributing member
to this list, so I find it hard to believe that he would send something
maliciously.  Perhaps someone else accessed his account?  

On the other hand, it may have been dumb luck on his part that he sent
this post out to the entire list instead of just "Linda."  If that's
the case, then it wasn't very nice of him to have done, but it's
already happened and nothing is going to change it.  Just let the 
list go on.

In Sue's defense, one has to realize that not everyone reads email in
the same way.  Some people (myself included) read the most recent
email first.  Others read them in the order in which they were 
received.  Those who's email clients follow the second method often
reply to messages before finishing an entire thread, so they may
be asking a question before they see the three million answers that
follow.  And of course, email delays, server failures, and poorly
written filters can all contribute to mail being received in a
different order for different subscribers.  

My point is that not everyone reads and receives mail in the same order
or at the same time, so their email experience will be almost always be
different from yours.  They may not have seen any of the messages that
you have already read and deleted.

I also don't know who Christopher and CeCe are, but I hope that
Christopher doesn't apply to me.  But if it does, I would also hope that
Sue wouldn't be so upset.  :)

And while I'm doing listowner type things here, can I ask everyone
to stay a little more on topic?  I'd really rather not see directions
to stores, lawn care tips, etc.
