(I knew that subject line would get everyone's attention!)
I just wanted to say, publicly, that Bill Lee has been in contact with me
and has apologized at great length, and we have put the unfortunate "dim
bulb" incident behind us.
Bill will be in the Portland area sometime in the next year for the "World
Daffodil Festival" and has offered to meet and buy me a drink, a plant, or
both. I'm going to take him up on it!
I just wanted everything to know that this had a happy ending. We all goof
up sometimes and I don't want anyone to think less of Bill for what was an
atypical and very human mistake. If I can be okay with it, I hope all of
you can, too.
