Re: Winter interest

I need to concentrate more on winter interest. But I have been enjoying
the dried stands of the Hopley's Purple oregano (my very favorite) and also
the Caryopteris, with tufts of tan where the flowers were. For quite a
while the Amsonia (illustris or hubrechtii? can't ever remember, the one
with the very narrow leaves) was also a nice tan accent. I put in some
small evergreens this past year, so I will have more to look at in the
winter, but they are tiny still. Lamium is green still, and I wouldn't be
shocked to see a flower on it, it goes on and on.
