Nice trailing perennials for the shade could include many of the ivies,
either hardy or tender varieties, and lysimachia `nummularia 'Aurea'',
also called creeping Jenny. The lysimachia is a beautiful glowing
yellow-green color with yellow flowers, so you might want to consider that
when you decide what to plant with it.
There are annual trailing lobelias that would be great, too. I hope you
will post your other answers for us.
