Gene,
I'm very glad to hear that Allen Bush made the right choice for
himself. I understand that he hasn't left the field (pun intended) and
is the head of the U.S. office of Jelitto Seeds.
Holbrook didn't have anywhere near the selection of exotics that
Heronswood and We-Du offered, but Mr. Bush certainly had an eye for
garden-worthy plants. I would plant anything listed in his catalog
which, by the way, was a great read.
