I have a pink-flowered dicentra (bleeding heart), whose cultivar name I've
lost track of. It is behaving differently than I've ever seen before. It
has maintained many of its flowers from its spring bloom, although they look
quite aged. A few of the stems are beginning to show proliferations--that
is, they are growing new leaves at the end of the flower stems. Has anyone
seen this on dicentras before? I know it is common on daylilies. Has anyone
successfully propagated new plants from these? Can you tell me how?
