Re: News release from NM PRO - kinda old

Hello Connie,
Perhaps your addiction is not as strong as you think.... mine is bad enough
that all I am after is the plant... source is not important as long as it is what
I am looking for, correctly ID'ed, healthy, and I can somehow find the money to
send the check. I will order from any one, any time they offer that elusive new
jewel I have been hunting. Suppose the thrill of the chase is there as much as,
sometimes more than, the actual plant received. On occasion the plant received is
not nearly as exciting as the path that led me there.
But then, I am one of those people who does not own a single T shirt with a
brand name on it for all to see, nor does my last vacation show up on my shirts.

this merger, the truth is I really *liked* the fact that these plants Heronswood
offered for the most part were *not* mainstream..

I seek.Yes,I suppose some might call it snobbery, but it truly is not..Its just my
brand of plant addiction ..Jewelery,designer clothes etc.interest me not but tell
me of a plant new to the public and I will learn all I can about it to see if it
might succeed in my garden. In another life time perhaps I would have

another plant unknown to me or others.

base, rather than*Mainstream America*Am I alone in this or do others feel this way
too?Must admit I saw the 'writing on the wall'when he appeared on Martha S..It was
like a best kept secret being let out of the bag, only nationally.

not likely.I certainly recognize that he is not in business to supply the purchase
'whims'of a limited few,and wish him every success and dollar he can earn from
this merger. So guess I will have to search for non-mainstream sources to appease
my addiction.

else?
