Deer and Figs

Probably should post this to Woody Plants, but that's at work, and I'm at
home, so...
I have a rooted cutting of a fig. It's doing well, was a passalong from a
friend. My question now is where to put it. My best sun area is also
frequently viasited by Bambi. Are figs a favorite of deer? I'm primarily
concerned at this point with the bush, not the fruit.
