And if you have trouble with the grass coming back B4 the Vetch spreads
sufficiently, spray with a selective grass killer. You probably should read
the label to be sure it won't hurt the Vetch. I have used one put out be
Acme and was real pleased with it. Bought it at Farm and Fleet.
Does anyone know how important it is to burn off the hillside each spring
when growing C. Vetch? It was beautiful here when in bloom but when the
city/state quite burning it off each spring, it doesn't seem to do as well.
I've heard that it forms such a thick mat that it will even strangle itself
if not burned off periodically.
