I dug out the Ornamec guide sheet and several members of the lily family
-- including Hemerocallis, Liriope, Hosta, and Yucca -- are listed as
safe for "over the top" (meaning it's OK if they're sprayed) application.
Dracaena and Ophiopogon are recommended for direct (just spray the grass
itself) application.

Many rural woodland gardeners have reported devastation to their Trillium
collections by nearby applications of agricultural grass-specific
herbicide. The chemical used in those instances must have been different
from that found in Ornamec (active ingredient: Fluazifop-P-butyl).

I bought the Ornamec to use on my side easement, which is too much to
handle for myself and a hand-held spray bottle. Haven't used it, though,
because I've since found out that the city's going to pave the
side-street and tear up the easement. I'm assuming that bulldozers and
back-hoes will be able to handle the quackgrass and bindweed*. I've only
ever used the Ortho product to remove grass from the lawn without killing
the violets and ground ivy.

*If I ever win the Lotto I'm going to hire some scientists to develop a
convolvulus-specific herbicide and rid the world of bindweed forever.
