Notice that I wrote "primary," not "singular," reference source. Hortus
Third might not be the most current work but it's not "outdated" in the
sense that the information isn't valid or correct. All of the
information contained therein is valid and correct, which cannot
necessarily be said about some of the more modern works. Consider how a
typo (wrong flower color) in one of Graham Stuart Thomas' books resulted
in thousands of 'Nora Leigh' phlox being distributed and sold as
'Harlequin.'
