Not perfect but works most of the time. Use milled spahgnum moss on the
surface of the pot, about 1/2 inch. Sow the seeds on top of the moss. Cover
with 1/2 inch of fine grit. This allows you to water without washing out the
seeds. Have you noticed how many unusual seeds will germinate on cushions of
moss outdoors. Maybe similar. Not all seeds germinate and not all
germinations live on so it is not a perfect science.
