Hi, Karen,
What about Choisya ternata (Mexican orange blossom)?
"The Tree & Shrub Expert" by Dr. D. G. Hessayon, says:
Choisya....ideal garden shrub. Neat, rounded bush is well-clothed with
shiny, evergreen leaves, and its white starry flowers appear as a main flush
in May and then occasionally throughout the summer.....needs no pruning.
Any reasonable garden soil.....full sun or light shade."
I couldn't find the height and width, but did find it also listed in "The
Small Garden Planner" by G. Rose, so I think it would be a small to medium
size.
I have it in a container on my deck and love it.
Good luck with your search.
Betty (in Delta, BC, where we're getting some much-needed rain)
