Re: Papaver rupifragum



Yes, Don, I've been growing this for several years and I love it.  I'm not
sure what our equivalent hardiness zone is to US, but seem to remember it's
probably about zone 6.  Does that make sense?  If I keep deadheading it, it
flowers from May-first frosts.  I believe there's now a double version of
it.  I planted several plants that we grew from seed when we first started
the garden and I just put it any old where and it seems to thrive, but on
the other hand, I think the drainage in my garden is fairly good.  I believe
it originally came from the Pyrenees.
