I have a plant which I grew from seed exchange seed as Aconitum
lycoctonum. It has flowered this year for the second time. It is
literally only 18" high and has cream flowers. It had about six short
flower heads and I think it's really special right at the front of
the border. I'm puzzled though as to where its short height came
from. It was no taller this season than last. I gather from other
replies that it's quite unusual to have such a short form. I have
just gathered the seed so I'll try some out and see whether the next
generation is the same height.
