Re: Crocosmia&Echinops

Hello Valerie,
That is two with clean foliage.. one in Canada and yours in England. Two ratty and ugly in this region. Wonder if it is a regional thing, or wholesale distribution? Anyone else out there with ugly foliage on their crocosmia at bloom time?

I grow C. Solfatare without any problem.  I love the colour of the foliage and the
flowers are a beautiful soft apricot yellow.  I have found that it is happier in partial
shade than in full sun and has proved (for me) to multiply reasonably quickly.

Gene, I've had no trouble with the foliage on any of my Crocosmias.
