Starting over with red clay at new home (new to me, built in 1965) here.
I've been hand digging all the bermuda since January and just this week
started unearthing
some sleepy Japanese Beetles, which of course I immediately and gleefully
mash.
Far more numerous, and also starting just this week are beetles that look
exactly
like the Japanese beetles but are light brown/golden colored. Does anyone
know what these are?
The Japanese Beetles just sit there kind of stupefied. These brown ones try
to burrow
in when I wake them.
