Also wear comfortable shoes! By the end of the tour, your feet hurt, you
voice is gone, and all the silly things you worried about were for
nothing. As far as id markers vs telling everyone the names... bet most
will not even remember them by the time the garden gate hits them in
the.....
Of course there will be a few that actually take notes, pictures, and
those may even realize there is a weed in the garden. I remember one
time a visitor asked what that unusual plant was half hidden in the
back... with a straight face, told them it was a weed that was brought
back from one of my many excursions, and I wanted to see if I could
cultivate it here :) Later I noticed her trying to get a cutting from
it... Unbelievable!

I have to remember that one - I have been taking notes, have to save some energy for the afternoon for the kids....
BUT if the plant police make any comments about weeds, I'll make something up, fodder for some rare butterfly, attracts the sapphire throated warbling hummingbird,...... GRIN!
