Susan:
If you are looking for pictures, go to www.hostalibrary.org
All the hostas are there......
As for basic books I like:
The Hosta Book by Paul Aden; less than $20 in paperback
The Gardeners Guide to Growing Hostas by Diana Grenfell 29.95 hardcover
The Hosta Handbook by Mark R. Zilis 34.95 in wirebound into the garden style
There are afew others but they are worthless. For an excellent ovverview the
Aden book is best. Grenfell does a good job for the new enthusiast and all
the serious hosta folks who have all the books just love Mark Zilis's new
handbook.
Any questions?
