Re: corydalis 'Blackberry Wine'

I planted my second plant of corydalis 'Blackberry Wine' at the start of last
year's drought (the first one lived only a few days). This plant lasted
through the summer. I don't remember whether it went dormant during the late
fall/winter, but it was there in early spring, growing rampantly. It has stems out
about two feet in every direction from its center. It has a lot of purple
flowers, but the plant is rather rangy. It may need more light then it's getting.
I can't say that I've noticed the fragrance mentioned at the web site, but the
plant appears to be hardy and floriferous.

Can anyone with experience with this corydalis recommend whether or not to
cut it back some to make it less rangy/sprawling?
