I bought a rebar bender and can do loopty loops with the rebar and make great stakes with them and each one with a little flare to it.
Last fall I toured a garden that had as you described two 20' rebars bent and perpendicular to each other. Made a great arch . Was this in Oregon?
I believe she was on a local show too.

Definitely. And you can get them cut any size. Rebar is my new friend -- I've been using it for EVERYTHING lately. Just saw on a local garden show where a woman used 20' rebar -- oh I'll never be able to explain it, but two pieces were arched over each other, connected at the center for an arch. Covered with a vine, you can't even see them.
