Speaking of butterflies and plants... very strange that my monarch
butterflies did not return this year. The caterpillar stage always
de-foliage my butterfly weed. It actually bloomed this year with leaves!
Anyone else notice this?
But I do have baby mantis this year. I found the - duh, what do you call
it, the nest in the spring... can't believe it took this long to hatch!
