My lupines get a terrible attack of aphids every year. This year they bloomed
spectacularly but now they look horrendous! I thought I was the only person
with this problem-good to know someone else is experiencing the same. I have
so many lupines that I just didn't have the time nor the inclination to spray
the aphids off. I have a few plants that weren't attacked and they are still
green, one is even reblooming because I cut the seed heads off before they
matured. Maybe that is the secret to keeping them green-deadheading. Anyone
else have a thought on this?
