My neighbor uses the kind of heavy black edging that comes in short
segments you pound in. I think it looks fine, but he doesn't like it
because the pieces keep coming loose and he has to put them back. I think
it was Spring of 1996 that he put in out.
You're right -- maintaining a neat edge between beds and lawn is a
problem!
