I just remembered a "re-use" item I use in the garden. I have my little niece
and nephew save all their popsicle sticks (and they collect ALOT) for me to
use as plant markers. With the help of an indelible marker, I can now actually
tell what is where in the Spring.
BTW, I tried the suggestion of someone on the list about cutting up tomato
cages for single stem supports, but I found that the cage wire is too thick to
be cut or shaped easily. I ended up with cuts on my hands and feet from the
sharp newly cut ends and a somewhat mangled Nicotiana Elata stem before I gave
up and threw the support out. Also, 3 tiers of loops were just too many. How
did you do it?
