Houttuynia as an edger?!?

Houttuynia makes mint look like a weekend guest; this is the most invasive
plant there is. I love the stuff, it's beautiful, but I only put it in
places that I'm certain will remain unchanged until the Sun turns into a
red dwarf and the solar system collapses. It makes Bishop's Weed seem
demure. It's the bastard son of Crabgrass.
Propagation is, of course, absurdly easy. I put one 3" pot of the stuff in
the greenhouse last Autumn. I cut that into quarters and re-potted. Two
months later did the same. Again. And again. Do the math. You'll be
shocked. But not as much as I was when I found I could barely walk in my
greenhouse.
