I keep a three-ring binder, with divisions for annuals perennials,
vegies, herbs, shrubs, trees, natives, etc.
I tape seed packets, plastic "info tags", etc. right onto the notebook
paper pages. I add information about planting, germination dates,
growth patterns, blood times, etc. I also record when I feed them,
otherwise I forget.
The three-ring binder works well for me, because it's big enough to
allow me to insert handouts from garden shows, catalogs, snippets from
the newspaper, etc. I also keep track of purchases in it, and keep a
"TO DO" list.
I try to update it whenever I do anything. In real life, I usually sit
down with it once a week, while watching TV or something, and make
additions.
'Works for me!
