Well, they have been working for me for a number of years. I don't see any
big slugs.
But the damage stops.

Nope. The hosta I use beer traps to protect is 13 years old and huge. The
slugs love it.

I agree. I don't even like using the beer traps. I let nature balance itself
in my garden and it works pretty well. Except for the slugs on that one
hosta. --Janis
