Look, he invested in the bear suit, he's going to wear it. If I were in
your shoes, I'd be ordering one of those little "scarecrows" that have
motion sensors in them and that spurt water jets about 35 feet in short
bursts through a Rainbird type of sprinkler. At least. Irish spring works
for a little while, but it loses its effect. Debbie Green on Gardens has
done research on deer feeding in gardens, and she says they'll eat anything
if they're sufficiently hungry. Take a look at Joyce Schillen's pages, at
http://www.gardenpages.com I think she still has her Breakfast for Bambi
article posted. But don't chuck bears under the chin. They may be cute to
look at, but no fun at all to dance with. Margaret
