I dreamt up a concoction that has been excellent for me and anyone else
that has followed the directions (or even came close to it).
It's based on the fact that deer don't eat herb gardens.
The recipe is the same one you've heard before, using eggs and milk in
a tank sprayer. But....add about 10 drops of essential oil of clove,
eucalyptus, cinnamon or something similar.
In a 1 gallon sprayer put:
1 cup of milk (it sours and stinks?)
2 well beaten eggs poured thru a strainer (also stinks?)
1 tsp of oil (so rain doesn't wash it away as easily)
5 drops of dish soap (so that the water won't bead up on the leaves)
10-15 drops of essential oil
Top the tank off with water, put the lid on, shake it up well and set
the spray to a fine mist.
Stroll leisurely thru your gardens misting everything lightly.
Repeat in 2-4 weeks.
My deer haven't returned. And nobody has returned to tell me that it
hasn't worked.
