I guess I'm just not a neatness freak, but I never pull weeds until a) I know
what they are and b) I know that I don't like them. It has given me a chance
to learn many new plants, some of which have stayed as valued members of my
garden. I'm particularly fond of my bistort, which should be blooming in
another month, I think and will bloom profusely and attract the few remaining
honeybees in the area until frost.
