In reading their web site, it sounds as if rapid regeneration is
dependent upon certain steps being followed in a conscientious manner.
Members of their Association agree to it, but others aren't obligated.
It may be possible that irresponsible harvesting is what causes the
problems and misconceptions.

So are we to look for the Association's seal on peat moss that we
purchase?  I would be interested in hearing anything if you find
out more.  I know most of us depend on sphagnum peat moss heavily
in our gardening endeavors.
