Years ago, when I first started my current
garden, I had this plant. I had not kept or had
lost the tag, and although I knew it was a
penstemon, I never knew the variety. In my
zone 6b Pacific Northwest Garden, it lived
about 2-3 years. After many other penstemon
trials, I have finally found the same plant and
as you can see above, the variety is 'Purple
Passion." Really pretty purple with white
throat, very large flowers.
As to my question, there is no zone hardiness
on my tag, anyone have any ideas? Also, my
main problem is probably my WET climate.
Does anyone know how to progagate these
from seed or cuttings and how I would go about
this?
Thanks for any help.
