Carolyn, How about Caryopteris (blue), Heleniums (gold or red), Boltonia
(white or pink), Cimicifuga 'The Pearl' (white), hardy Hibiscus 'Disco
Belle' (pink, white, red), any autumn blooming Clematis, many ornamental
grasses such as Miscanthis or Pennisetum, Salvias (all colors), Phygelius
(pink, coral, creamy yellow), Penstemon (all colors) and my favorite
Japanese Anemones (rose, pink, white). There is so much to choose
from--enjoy, enjoy.
