You could try clethra alnifolia (pink fragrant
spiky flowers about July/August). But it does
attract bees. I'm not sure about the amount of
sunlight, either.

You didn't mention height. What about
obedient plant (phystogia) or bees balm
(monarda). They will take any light, any soil
and both bloom later. Or Monkshood
(aconitum).

Dwarf hydrangea?

Or pheasant berry (leycesteria formosa) has
incredible drooping panicles of berries later.
Quite stunning. Mine gets almost no direct
light.

I have a corner in my front yard that needs a
plant. It is a corner by my
front porch. It has to be something that likes
wet feet, gets about 2 hours
of sun, and gets kind of bushy. I would like
something that flowers
mid-to-late summer. Any suggestions?
