I nominate Jeanne as garden writer of the year! Jeanne, you should
think about doing a gardening column for your local paper -- maybe even
some scripts for a TV sitcom about the trials of a new gardener! Look
forward to all your posts. More on topic, let's enjoy these common wild
beauties as the blessings they are, rewarding us with effortless blooms
while we struggle with those tempermental rarities we all seem to need.
Familiarity breeds content! My shastas have flopped over and are
fading,
so I guess your curse is working, Jeanne...
