Marilyn,
Does a hydrangea like wet feet? This spot gets water from the gutter. I
live in an old house that has box gutters, and I have not yet determined a
way to put a spout that will drain the water away from the area and be
attractive at the same time. I might have to dig a tunnel under the
sidewalk this fall. It is right by the front porch which is about twenty
feet away from the street.
