japanese beetles and geraniums

Hi all-
Just received this from the NGA and thought I'd pass it along.

RED GERANIUMS VERSUS JAPANESE BEETLES --
Midwest, Northeast, Southeast
Here's the latest control technique for these ravenous pests. Japanese
beetles love red geraniums and will attack these plants before any
others.
However, while feeding on geraniums, they become intoxicated, stop
mating
and feeding for days, and as many as third of them die. Plant red
geraniums around roses and other beetle preferred plants to slow their
attack.
