I am very very sorry to hear about your son, and I share your sorrow and
horror regarding the man who was murdered with his partner.  But I don't
think you need to worry about fellow who sent the email asking for "help."

The instructions for the listserv provide that if you need help using the
listserv, you should send a message with the single word "help" in it to
majordomo@mallorn.com.  The guy who sent the "help" message to all of us
undoubtedly just sent his message to the wrong email address.  And someone
else pointed out that he unsubscribed shortly thereafter, so he must have
been trying to figure out how to unsubscribe.

Here is what the instructions say to do if you need help:

"Help:

"   To see what options are available to you, send mail to
"   majordomo@mallorn.com with a message reading:

"     help

"   Mail will be sent back to you listing available commands."

Lord    I feel so bad about Paul and his partner.    I feel especially
bad because my son was murdered  11 years ago,  and to think his e-mail
post was a cry for help and nobody knew.   I remember when I read the
message that day and didn't have a clue that something was happening.
What is happening in the world today,  with all of the killing.  every
time I turn on the TV  the first 15 min of our local news is about crime

My heart goes out to the love ones of these 2 people.   from my own
experience they have a lot of unhappiness up ahead.   not only the lose
of their love ones,   but they have the system to deal with.    Not a
pretty site.       so sad
