RE: perennials DIGEST V3 #266


Boy, you'll get as many different responses to this as people who respond.

I really enjoyed the Flower Finder when I was first gardening.  Lots of
pictures, broken down by season and sun/shade, etc.  Quite helpful for a new
gardener.

If you live in the West, you should not be without the Sunset Western Garden
Book.  It is your basic bible for gardening.  I actually don't use it much
any more, but as a beginner, it was indispensable.

For mine is a little old-fashioned garden where the flowers come
together to praise the Lord and teach all who look upon them to do
likewise.
