Eupatorium rugosum Chocolate

Hi Kemberly,
The selection Chocolate came a chance seedling I am told. That being the
case, you should get seedlings close enough to the mother plants you can not
tell the difference and a flock of variations. How much of a variance, I can
not say. I have not tried to grow this one from seed. I received my
wholesale stock for the nursery about 8 weeks ago and I am growing it on for
this fall and next spring sales. From the look of the plants I received they
were cuttings.
Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Just pick out the ones that are the
darkest and discard the rest. It should bloom around here in
August-September.
