RE: Alfalfa hay as mulch (Hay-Seeds)


The problem with hay as mulch is that it has seeds.  The thicker you spread
it the fewer alfalfa sprouts you'll get.  But you'll always get some. Straw
is better for mulch than hay.  But what the hay, if you need mulch, hay is
better than nothing at all.  Donna.
