Re: Eupatorium rugosum 'Chocolate'

> Any suggestions for plant combinations?

I like mine... :) It sits slightly offset from (and in front of)
Tradescantia ohiensis [1] which is a light blue-gray with bright blue
flowers. In front I have Lysimachia congestiflora 'Outback Sunset' [2]
and a Sedum spectabile (the kind with pinkish flowers). There's also
a Tiarella 'Running Tapestry' that ties into the darker hues in the
Eupatorium quite well.

I know it all sounds garish, but I think the combinations worked out
rather well...
