RE: in bloom now?/floppy Crater Lake Blue veronica


My cultivar of "Johnson's Blue" also is the tall variety, and to prevent it
from flopping I grow it through a two-tiered system of plant supports
similar to the commercially produced ones, but which I made. I put wire
stake legs on the four corners of a two foot square piece of large-holed
wire fencing and then had to add another piece of fencing when it grew too
tall for that, so one "fence" is about at a foot and the next at about two
feet. Works great.
